During the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 travel and local apps in Algeria showcased varied performance metrics across downloads and active users, as per Sensor Tower data.

Google Earth experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting strong with around 15K in the first week of January and gradually declining to approximately 7.8K by the end of March. However, the app maintained a stable user base, with weekly active users ranging from 155K to 161K throughout the quarter.

Mobile Number Locator saw an initial dip in weekly downloads from 13K to around 5.4K by the last week of March. Despite this, the app's weekly active users showed a positive trend, increasing from 51.8K to 74.5K over the same period.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel had a noticeable decline in weekly downloads, starting at 19.7K and dropping to about 3.6K by the end of March. Meanwhile, the app's weekly active users showcased resilience, peaking at approximately 99.7K in the final week.

MAHATATI had more stable weekly downloads, ranging from 4.3K to 7.1K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users remained consistent as well, fluctuating between 32K and 38K.
